Gwerniago Campsite is located in the heartland of Mid Wales, at the most southern point of the Snowdonia National Park. Gwerniago is a family run working farm run by a Welsh-speaking family. The campsite is situated on the edge of Pennal village in the beautiful unspoilt Dyfi (Dovey) Valley.
The shower and toilet block consists of four individual toilets, two male and two female and a fully accessible disabled shower and toilet room at the rear of the building. At the front of the building, there are separate male and female shower facilities, providing two cubicles in each, with washbasin facilities. In the centre of the building, there is a family room with a bath and overhead shower, toilet and washbasin, which is particularly suitable for use with young children who need to be supervised. Situated at the side of the building is a small kitchen with a washing up sink, fridge and freezer and power points for charging phones etc. Outside, undercover, there are two sinks with hot water for washing dishes. The hot water is heated by solar panels, backed up by electricity. There is no extra charge for these facilities.Snowdonia Hideaway – The Crogloft

Adjoining the park is the village of Penybont - a village steeped in history. A Main droving route, and the site of one of the largest fairs in the early 19th Century.
The site overlooks Penybont Race Course, which plays host to Penybont Races on the first Wednesday in August. This is one of the oldest trotting races in Wales and well worth attending.
