Wild Wales Holidays offers outstanding glamping accommodation in the gorgeous Llanthony Valley. Nestled in an idyllic countryside setting in Powys, we truly are the perfect place to escape from hustle and bustle of modern life.
Our wonderful glamping accommodation, Starlight Yurt, is set in a fabulous mountain valley location, boasting stunning views of the surrounding Black Mountains. This charming, authentic Mongolian yurt is based in a private location in a glorious meadow, bordered by the Honddu River. The river is only a short stroll away, perfect for taking a dip in on a warm, summer’s day.
Our spacious yurt is beautifully furnished and well-insulated, with a toasty wood burner perfect for those chilly days. The yurt sleeps 2 people in a comfy bed, plus 2 children on camp beds. All bed linen is provided but please bring sleeping bags for the camp beds.
Next to the yurt is a lovely shepherds hut which includes a well-equipped kitchen at one end and a hot shower at the other. A compost loo is just a short walk away in a delightful little green hut amongst the trees. A field shelter is provided for keeping bikes, logs and BBQ equipment etc.
Only a short walk away is the Llanthony Priory, a lovely pub that serves a great selection of drinks. Wonderful walking routes can also be enjoyed on the nearby mountain tops, whilst the renowned town of Hay-on-Wye is accessible by car. Excellent attractions to visit include:
