Pen Y Bont Touring & Camping Park is in a beautiful part of Gwynedd, just a 2-minute walk from Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake). We are a fantastic base for those who want to explore the Snowdonia National Park.

Our beautifully maintained camping and touring park is perfect for couples, friends and families who are looking for a relaxing place to stay. The camping field is in a pretty landscaped area and is near the touring pitches if you are travelling with friends. The site covers 6 acres of landscaped and specially developed land to accommodate a combination of touring caravans, motorhomes and tent pitches.

All our touring pitches offer a choice of awnings on grass or full hardstanding. All the pitches are serviced and include electric hook up points. Some pitches are fully serviced and also include water and waste facilities. The camping field is close to the touring pitches but set in its own area.

We also have a glamping area which features Shepherd’s huts and Timeout Tents. The luxurious shepherd huts are perfect for a romantic break and include a wood-burning fire, en suite, kitchen, and double bed. Outside there is a BBQ area for al fresco dining and a hot tub.

Our 3 brand new timeout tents come equipped with a kitchen and soft furnishings. Outside there is a private parking and decking area. These tents are perfect for families and couples.

Onsite we have shop, including a daily delivery service from T.J. Roberts, an award-winning local butcher. Calor gas and Campingaz are available for purchase. We also have newly renovated shower and toilet block, undercover food preparation/washing up area, laundry and chemical disposal point.

Our park is a 5-minute walk away from Bala Town and of course our mini steam train that runs from Bala to Llanuwchllyn on the lakeshore. It’s a fantastic base for all of the outdoor activities the area has to offer. Activities including but not limited to:

Sailing.
Walking.
Canoeing.
Kayaking.
National White Water Centre.
