Camp Plas is situated on the banks of the River Vyrnwy, for an immersive nature experience. Since 1664, this hidden gem in the heart of Wales has been a sanctuary for animal lovers, walkers and those seeking a closer connection with nature.
Whether you’re camping in our vibrant wildflower meadow, unwinding in the Boatshed, or retreating to the woodland seclusion of Cuddfan Bach, each spot offers the perfect setting for fireside stories, stargazing and embracing the great outdoors.
The Boatshed
This features a king-sized bed and a convertible sofa for up to three guests, or ideal for two who prefer separate sleeping arrangements. It includes a cosy log burner (with free wood/coal), cooking facilities and a private outdoor bath and shower. When the river level is low, enjoy a BBQ and relax in hammocks by the riverbank.
Cuddfan Bach
This offers a luxurious escape in our secluded woodland. This 6m bell tent, named 'Little Hideaway,' is set on a raised deck and overlooks the farm. It boasts a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with spring water, a private eco-toilet and access to a luxury shower block.
Camp Meadow
The meadow provides nine tent pitches, three Field Bell Tents and five campervan pitches in our expansive wildflower meadow and adjacent field. Each site offers privacy and a unique view of the lush Welsh countryside, the soothing River Vyrnwy, or our pastoral farm fields dotted with rare breed sheep and their springtime lambs.
Field Bell Tents
The bell tents in the meadow accommodate up to four guests each, featuring a double bed, two single z-beds and outdoor seating with a fire pit. Enjoy the tranquil evenings by the fire, listening to the river's flow and the crackle of the flames. Optional bedding, duvets, and bed linen are available for hire.
