Big Barn Camping offers stunning glamping and camping facilities near Laugharne in Carmarthenshire. Situated on a 36 acre smallholding in glorious countryside, we are perfect for an idyllic break away.

With two glamping tents, - Woodland camp situated in its own private area away from the main camping paddock, with its own kitchen covered area, shower and composting toilet this is a popular choice for a getaway. The Laugharne bell tent has its own composting toilet and covered kitchen area in in the field next to the camping paddock with stunning views across the Carmarthenshire countryside .
The three little Eco Barn pods come with a range of excellent facilities. Fox Barn, has a double bed with both Hilltop and Cwtch Barn have fitted convertible tables that turn into a double bed. Each pod has use of a kitchen sheltered area. Outside each pod is a picnic bench and firepit for campfires.
The main facilities are available in the Big Barn. This large Dutch barn includes 3 showers, 3 wash basins, 2 washing up sinks a compost toilet and recycling facilities. A further 2 eco friendly composting toilets are on the camping field.
We have a spacious camping paddock reserved for just ten prized pitches each individually cut so you have your own designated area with plenty of room from your neighbours . Campervans or small retro teardrop caravans are permitted allowing you to truly savour this stunning countryside location. Each pitch has a fire pit and picnic bench.
We are the perfect base for exploring a range of wonderful attractions. Pendine Sands beach is just 10 minutes’ drive away while Oakwood Theme Park near Narbeth is around half an hour away. Under 10 minutes' drive away is the coastal town of Laugharne, famed as the final home of Dylan Thomas and the recent popular BBC drama Keeping Faith. We are also on the national cycle route 4.
