Nantgwynfaen is an organic working farm that provides facilities for campers, tourers, glampers. Motorhomes welcome but please enquire. Located within the small village of Croeslan it is centrally located for visiting Llandysul, Newquay, and Cardigan Bay.
There are only 5 camping pitches at Nantgwynfaen. When does a handful of pitches become a campsite? Each unique camping pitch set is in its own private space, there are no sprawling camping fields here. It is a quiet family-friendly site ideal for families and couples who just love the great outdoors. BBQs and campfires are permitted and dogs are welcome. It is a campsite for the discerning camper who likes things nice and simple. There is no electric hook up, but there is free hot water and a flushing toilet.
Sun Of A Pitch (max 4) - Camp on a grassy hilltop with views over a wild meadow and the valley beyond. private outdoor warm shower and washing up, adjacent to pitch private toilet nearby. An ideal place to enjoy a campfire at sunset overlooking a dramatic steep valley with a stream at the bottom which is lined with ancient trees. A place to be in the moment, to watch buzzards gliding along the treetops at eye-level, breathe the fresh air, whilst savouring the view which drops away to the River Teifi and the hills in the distance. A very peaceful pitch, with fantastic views suitable for a medium-size tent or two small tents –a long pitch stretching along a sheltered hedge line, which is 4.5m wide with no camping neighbours within view. West-facing to make the most of the evening sunset at its best, and sheltered from the morning sun. Note, there is a steep slope adjacent to the pitch. Located 100m from the toilet and shower block. There is car parking nearby and walks in all directions. Approximate dimensions: 5x15m.
Pitch Perfect (max 4 ) - Just off a quiet farm track, tucked into the bank on two sides, perfect for enjoying the morning sun, with easy access to the toilets, suitable for a small caravan, small motor home, camper van or small tent with the convenience of parking on a hard standing next to the pitch. Also suitable for a medium-sized tent stretching across the hardstanding and grass. There is a fire bowl and lovely views of the meadow in front, a grassy field to the side and larger trees which are teeming with birds beyond. This pitch is unsuitable for campervans longer than 5m and large caravans as there is a sloped yard on the approach. Please contact us if you would like to discuss other options. There is no electric hook up. Approximate dimensions: 5x7m (50% grass 50% hardstanding). Pitch parking.
Love At First Site (max 8) - A very large private and spacious grass pitch surrounded by woodland at the end of a farm track. Suitable for large tents can camper vans. There is a picnic table and a fire bowl, a warm bootcamp shower and washing up on the pitch and a private compost toilet nearby (also use of communal flushing toilet if prefer). Pitch parking. Suitable Ideal for families, small groups of friends and couples who want to be away from it all. A peaceful setting just a 5-minute walk from the facilities. Adjacent to Mid Field - the hay meadow and 2 other fields so very handy for having a stroll and walking the dog when the livestock are elsewhere. Suitable for small caravans, campervans, a large bell tent or several smaller tents. NB there is no electric hook up. It is a large flat irregular shaped area approximate dimensions: 15x15m plus 6x15m.
The 99 – This is perfect for those that want proper wild camping, nestled in a tranquil valley. Called "I Got 99 Problems But a Pitch Ain’t one’’, this is a haven for nature lovers. There is drinking water, a fire pit, with a boot camp shower and eco toilet. The Pitch is a 10 min walk up hill to the farm and we can even provide a quad bike to help transport all your gear.
ConTENTed (max 2) - This is a small grass circular garden pitch suitable for a smaller size tent, surrounded by shrubbery and a hedge with views over the pink geraniums and hydrangeas to the West. Ideal for singles or couples or additional guests staying in the Glamavan and Sun of a Pitch. Approximate pitch dimensions: 7x7m.
Glamavan - The glamping at Nantgwynfaen Organic Farm comes with vintage style and views of the Teifi Valley. From the outside, The Glamavan is a single static caravan in an enviable location but step inside and you are transported to another era. Carefully-sourced vintage furniture and cool retro fabrics combine with mod cons to make glamping accommodation that is as stylish as it is comfortable. And it’s all within the glorious rural surroundings of west Wales, not far from Cardigan Bay.

The Facilities:
The toilet and shower facilities are located on the farmyard in a stylish zinc building, where there is free hot water (and a flushing toilet). There is a dishwashing sink and drainer, an open-air wash hand basin for face, teeth and hands; a shower cubicle with a quirky watering can shower; and a separate toilet cubicle. There is a socket and a freezer for freezing blocks. There is also a socket in the games barn for emergency charging (but you must stay with your device for the duration of charging!).
Free Wi-Fi is available in the farmyard and games barn.

Farm Shop, well stocked with firewood, charcoal, local and organic treats and good selection of basics. Fresh bread baked on the farm to pre-order.

Firewood is sold on the farm.

Guests are encouraged to explore all corners of the 60-acre farm, so bring your wellies!
West Wales is steeped in history, as well as the beautiful coast line at Cardigan Bay to see the dolphins. It offers ancient castles, museums and the National Trust. If you are short of time, visit the National Woollen Museum down the road in Drefach Velindre and Llanarchaeron outside Aberaeron.

Rates: From £15 per adult, £5 per child over 16 min 2 nights school hols. Glamavan minimum two night stay. Minimum stay applies. Son of a Pitch is from £30.00 per night, Pitch Perfect from £15 per night, Love at First Site from £35 per night, Contented from £15 per night, wild pitch is from £40 per night. Dogs £2 per night.
Children are welcome. Please note this is a working farm with a pond (deep open water) and children must be supervised at all times.
