When they were developing the area they lost a D8 Bulldozer (it sank in the soil) so the Americans covered most of the Park with hardcore up to a depth of 3 feet, brought from local foundries, (which makes pegging in most places quite difficult). Our campsite is basic and has non-electric and electric hardstanding pitches. plus Non-electric grass tent pitches, facilities include an outside flushing loo and shower converted from a portaloo, which is available at night when the pub shuts, or you can lock yourself into the pub bathroom and have a shower and use the toilets when the pub is open. Our glamping pods were installed in 2017 and are available in three types: Beech and Oak are standard pods, Willow is a standard pod with its own private hot tub and Ash pod features a double bed with a separate sofa. All standard pods can accommodate up to four people, offering either two single beds or a large quadruple bed. The Ash pod, however, sleeps two on a traditional double bed.
