Intake Farm in Ipstones offers an exceptional camping and glamping experience in a beautiful countryside location. Set on a small family-run farm near Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, it is an ideal retreat for outdoor enthusiasts seeking a peaceful rural escape. With wide-open views and a welcoming atmosphere, the site provides a relaxing base for exploring the surrounding landscapes, enjoying nature and unwinding in one of Staffordshire’s most scenic spots.
We have 5 woodland pitches, plus our grass pitch. We offer fire pits which can be rented for £5 per stay, as well as large sacks of wood (with kindling) for purchase at £6.50 per bag.
We also offer unique glamping accommodation, the perfect alternative to the traditional camping experience. White Cloud Bus is a beautifully renovated bus which is ideal for a cosy stay. Inside there is a comfy double bed and two single beds, plus a shower. A wood burner is great for the winter months and there’s also an oven and lots of cooking utensils.
You can stay in the Lazy Cow Showman’s Wagon which has been soberly converted to blend indoor and outdoor living for a relaxing getaway. Inside there are two double beds for a restful night’s sleep, a shower, log fire, oven and plenty of cooking utensils. Glamping guests can also tuck into a full Staffordshire breakfast to set you up for the day ahead.
You are welcome to come and meet some of our friendly farm animals and we offer home farmed produce for an additional price.

We are in a fantastic position for exploring the area. The closest town to us is Leek which is a market town with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. Alton Towers and the Peak District are nearby, whilst the area is also home to an array of stunning walking and cycling routes. Attractions to visit whilst staying with us include:
