The Wharf Caravan Park provides touring pitches for caravans and motorhomes in the peaceful hamlet of Goldstone, set along the scenic Shropshire Union Canal. Ideally located near Market Drayton, the park offers a great base for exploring Shropshire and beyond, with popular destinations such as Shrewsbury, The Potteries and Ironbridge all within 20 miles. Whether you're seeking a relaxing canal-side escape or easy access to historic attractions, The Wharf Caravan Park is the perfect spot for a countryside break.
Our park is in a peaceful setting, offering farmland and rural surroundings. We have 25 seasonal pitches and 25 touring caravan/motorhome pitches.
Most of the pitches are hard standing and 8 of the pitches offer grass. All the pitches include 10amp electric hook up and are set 6 metres from each other.
Onsite we have 24-hour access to the toilets and showers. Facilities onsite include waste disposal, water, refuse, recycling, washing up area, hook ups, barrier keypad and gate handles.
We are in the perfect spot for enjoying a stroll on the towpath along the Shropshire Union Canal. The canal towpath also offers coarse fishing via day ticket. Fly fishing can be enjoyed at the local trout fishery which is just 4 miles away. Play a round at the championship golf course at Hawkstone Park or visit Market Drayton which offers a street market every Wednesday. Attractions to visit include:
