Ashbourne Touring Park is set in a stunning location in the heart of the Peak District, making it an ideal destination for touring holidays in this spectacular region. The park offers a variety of hard-standing and grass pitches with 16-amp electric hook-ups, accommodating motorhomes, touring caravans and campervans, as well as providing seasonal pitches and facilities for rallies. Surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, the site serves as a perfect base for exploring the rural landscapes of the Peak District National Park.
Whether you arrive with a caravan, motorhome or campervan, there is a pitch to suit your needs. The grounds are carefully maintained and facilities include grass and hard-standing pitches, allowances for one awning and one car per pitch, 16-amp hook-ups, nearby water taps and waste disposal for both black and grey water. The park is also dog-friendly, welcoming up to two dogs and guests are reminded to bring a 25-metre cable for connecting to the electric hook-up.
On-site facilities are designed to make every stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Visitors have access to a modern toilet and shower block, a laundry room and dish-washing facilities.
Just a short 10-minute drive away, the historic market town of Ashbourne awaits with its winding cobbled streets and a rich Tudor and Georgian heritage. The town offers an array of independent shops, antique stores, jewellers, gift shops, butchers, bakers and green grocers, as well as cosy cafés, boutique bars and traditional pubs. For those seeking local refreshments closer to the site, there are two pubs, the Black Horse Inn and The Nags Head, within five minutes’ drive, along with Hulland General Store for essential supplies.
