Lower Micklin Touring Park is an award-winning, family-run caravan, motorhome and camping site near Alton in Staffordshire, offering stunning views across rolling countryside and the picturesque Weaver Hills. Ideally located for visitors, the park provides easy access to top attractions including Alton Towers, the Peak District, the Staffordshire Way and the world-famous Potteries, making it a perfect base for a relaxing getaway or an adventure-filled break.
Our touring park has 30 well-spaced pitches including 10 super hard standing, 7 hard standing, 4 super grass and 9 grass pitches. All the pitches come with electric hook ups and enjoy incredible views over the Churnet Valley. Facilities onsite include:
10 Super hardstanding pitches with individual water, waste and 16 amp electric hook up.
7 Standard hard standing pitches with individual drainage and 16amp EHU.
4 Super Grass grass pitches with 16amp EHU suitable for larger tents.
9 Grass pitches with 5amp EHU.
Chemical disposal point.
14 Private and 3 Shared Water taps.
Motor home accessible waste water point.
Heated toilet and shower facilities.
Free hot water.
Family bathroom with toilet, shower, basin and baby changing unit.
Undercover washing-up sinks with hot water.

We are ideally located for a fun day out at Alton Towers which only 2 miles away. Lots of great walking and cycling routes are available from the gate and the Peak District National Park is only 20 minutes away. Attractions in the local area include:
