Milestone Caravan Park is an award-winning five-star caravan park set in the heart of Robin Hood Country and open all year round. The park offers over 100 generously sized touring pitches, including a mix of level grass and hardstanding options, all with 16-amp electric hook-up. Thoughtfully landscaped with shrubs and borders for added privacy, the open-plan layout creates a spacious and welcoming atmosphere. Of the pitches available, 79 are for touring caravans and motorhomes, with a further 34 seasonal pitches; please note the park does not accept tents.
Guests benefit from a wide range of well-maintained facilities, including two heated shower and toilet blocks with separate disabled facilities, a heated laundry room with washing and drying equipment, heated pot-washing rooms with vegetable preparation areas, baby changing facilities and a hair dryer. Water points are located throughout the park, alongside chemical waste disposal, motorhome service areas, and refuse and recycling points. A main reception and information chalet provide helpful local guidance on attractions, restaurants and transport links.
The park is pet friendly and features an on-site dog walk, with many additional walking routes surrounding the park. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times, ensuring a safe and enjoyable stay for all visitors. There is a dog shower onsite available for muddy paws.
There is a bus stop right outside of the park. Visitors to Cromwell near Newark-on-Trent can explore a variety of historic and scenic attractions. The impressive Newark Castle overlooks the River Trent and offers a glimpse into the town’s Civil War history, while the National Civil War Centre provides fascinating interactive exhibits. Nature lovers can enjoy walks along the River Trent or visit Sherwood Forest, legendary home of Robin Hood, just a short drive away. For grand architecture and beautiful parkland, Southwell Minster and Clumber Park offer great days out, combining history, countryside and family-friendly exploration.
