Gwerniago Campsite is located in the heartland of Mid Wales, at the most southern point of the Snowdonia National Park. Gwerniago is a family run working farm run by a Welsh-speaking family. The campsite is situated on the edge of Pennal village in the beautiful unspoilt Dyfi (Dovey) Valley.
The shower and toilet block consists of four individual toilets, two male and two female and a fully accessible disabled shower and toilet room at the rear of the building. At the front of the building, there are separate male and female shower facilities, providing two cubicles in each, with washbasin facilities. In the centre of the building, there is a family room with a bath and overhead shower, toilet and washbasin, which is particularly suitable for use with young children who need to be supervised. Situated at the side of the building is a small kitchen with a washing up sink, fridge and freezer and power points for charging phones etc. Outside, undercover, there are two sinks with hot water for washing dishes. We accept touring caravans, motor homes, trailer tents and tents on to our site. All prices quoted include free hot water for the showers. We are also a pet friendly site and to this end your pets are also included in the price. We have experienced first hand the way a disabled person can be energised by the countryside from our own son, Jake, who has enjoyed many holidays in our camper van. It is with this in mind that we have taken particular consideration to the facilities we offer and their ability to be used by those who are able and those who are less able. Amongst others a perfect example is our shower block which is built with level access and comfortable wet room type showers, large enough to accommodate wheelchairs and carers if needed.
