Pont Kemys Caravan & Camping Park is a peaceful eight-acre site set in the heart of rural Monmouthshire, right beside the beautiful River Usk. This family-run park was created after many years of experience with caravanning and camping and it continues to offer a warm welcome to guests seeking a tranquil countryside escape. The location is ideal for exploring the stunning scenery of the area, with historic towns nearby and easy access to the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains.
The park accommodates touring caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents and tents, with pitches available on grass or hard standing, many of which include electric hook-ups. There is also a dedicated adult-only area with fully serviced super-pitches, each offering electricity, water, drainage, TV connection and generous space.
The modern facilities block includes toilets, washbasins, showers, hand and hair dryers, all free of charge. Additional amenities include a disabled access toilet and shower room, a baby changing room, a laundry room with washer, dryer and iron and a washing-up area with a microwave.
Guests can enjoy free rural Wi-Fi throughout the site and make use of the television lounge. All caravan pitches come with pre-paid electric hook-ups.
The reception area and shop provide gas, basic provisions (bread, milk, butter, eggs) and local information. There is a separate dog exercise area and the site operates a recycling policy with containers for glass, paper, cardboard, plastics, cans and food waste.
Conveniently located just four miles from Usk and seven miles from Abergavenny, the park is easily accessible via the B4598. The Chainbridge pub is a short 300-yard walk across the river and two other pubs are within walking distance, each about a mile away in opposite directions. There is plenty to see and do in the area, including:
Big Pit Mining Museum Blaenavon.
Raglan, Skenfrith and Abergavenny castles.
Roman Fortress and baths at Caerleon.
Windsurfing, sailing and trout fishing at Llandegfedd Reservoir.
Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal within 10 minutes with a dog friendly café, canal boat & canoe hire & seasonal boat trips at Goytre Wharf.
