The Willows – Yr Helyg is a welcoming adult-only campsite located in the picturesque village of Mynytho, just a short drive from the popular seaside town of Abersoch. Set in a tranquil spot on the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula, the site enjoys breathtaking countryside and coastal views, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking relaxation in scenic surroundings. Perfectly positioned for exploring Gwynedd, guests can discover a variety of attractions nearby, sandy beaches, historic sites and charming Welsh villages. The Llyn Peninsula is a hikers/walkers paradise with a vast selection of scenic walks - the coastal path and mariners way to name but a few.
We have a solid road leading to our Fully Serviced, Hard Standing pitches in our main field - 3 extra Hardstanding pitches for 2026 due to popular demand. All our Grass pitches have their own water tap, select pitches have stunning sea views with Snowdonia mountains in the background. Others have beautiful countryside view, with an old windmill site in the distance. The touring area is based in landscaped grounds and all the pitches come with free water, grey waste, wi-fi and a boosted TV signal.
Electric Meters are all metered. We also sell gas on site.
You can also choose to stay in our bespoke shepherd’s hut, 'Llety’r Bugail', furnished to a high standard, boasting a modern kitchen and shower room, TV and double bed, plus a smart electric fire, for those chilly evenings. Doors open onto a private patio, with garden furniture, and a HOT TUB for you to enjoy.
The Willerby static is complete with a double en suite, new modern shower foom, fully-equipped kitchen, lounge/dining area and decking area with furniture, which offers spectacular views of coast and country.
Alternatively, stay in The Chillout Pod for £60 per night, offering a king size bed, (with duvets, sheets and towels provided), tea and coffee making facilities, small fridge, table, two chairs, and an electric fire - (please use site shower block)

We are perfect for discovering all that the area has to offer, with lots of scenic walking and cycling routes in the area. Visit Abersoch which has a harbour beach and a golf club to play a round on. You can also visit the beaches at Porth Neigwl and Traeth Porth Ceiriad. Attractions to visit include:
