Middlehills Farm Campsite in Grangemill is near the Derbyshire market town of Bakewell. We are the ideal base for exploring a range of excellent attractions in the area.
We have full on site facilities including toilets and shower blocks, pot washing areas, drinking water and a lovely play area for children. There are 9 electric pitches available and we also have two chemical waste points.
Our 2 glamping pods both sleep 4 people, offering that touch of luxury compared to the traditional camping experience.
Our shop sells local produce, the meat is from the farm shop at Bakewell, cheese from Hartington, fresh bread from the dairy and farm eggs, snacks and camping equipment, plus briquettes and starter packs. There is a fridge/freezer in the pot washing areas in both camping fields. There is a hot drinks machine, which sells fresh ground coffee, tea and hot chocolate, plus a pizza van selling pizza every Friday and Saturday nights.
Fire pits for hire are available on a first come first served basis. We allow open fires if they are in fire pits and raised off the ground. We have a limited number to hire.
Nearby is the market town of Bakewell, home to a market and lots of interesting shops. Within a 15 minute drive is Dovedale, Tissington Trails, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. The area is also home to an abundance of cycle and walking routes.
