Kingsbridge Caravan Park

Llanfaes, Beaumaris, Isle of Anglesey

Description

Kingsbridge Caravan Park offers a peaceful escape that’s perfect for families, couples and walkers exploring the Anglesey Coastal Path. Family run and rich in wildlife, the park sits just two miles from Beaumaris, a popular spot with plenty to keep both children and adults entertained. This four-star park provides an ideal base whether you want to unwind or head out to explore the island of Isle of Anglesey and the nearby Wales mainland.

Set within 14 acres and surrounded by green farmland, the park is a tranquil retreat with very little traffic noise. Fields 1 and 2 are designated for families and all pitches accommodate units up to a maximum length of 7.5 metres. There are 60 seasonal pitches, four standard hardstanding pitches for tourers and motorhomes and seven full service hardstanding pitches that include water, waste water, electric hookup and a bench table set. In addition, there are five grass pitches for touring caravans, small campervans and tents, along with three non-electric grass pitches for tents. Field 3 is reserved for adults only and features 22 hardstanding seasonal touring pitches as well as 12 fully serviced seasonal touring pitches.

The park has earned no fewer than 16 David Bellamy Gold Awards for conservation. Responsible dog owners are welcome, with a maximum of two dogs per pitch and dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

Facilities and amenities include a free WiFi hotspot, free showers, free freezer block use, Calor Gas sales, laundry facilities and a children’s play area. Shower and toilet facilities are often a key measure of a site’s quality and here they are bright, warm, modern and, most importantly, kept very clean. The laundry is equipped with a coin-operated Miele washing machine at £5 per wash including soap and a matching coin-operated dryer at £5 per use.

Llanfaes sits right beside Beaumaris, one of Anglesey’s most charming seaside towns, making it a great base for exploring the area. A visit to Beaumaris Castle is a must, with its impressive moat and perfectly symmetrical walls, while the Victorian Beaumaris Pier offers lovely views across the Menai Strait. Boat trips run to Puffin Island, known for its seabirds and seals, and walkers can join the Anglesey Coastal Path for spectacular coastal scenery. Nearby you can also explore the historic town of Bangor or cross the Menai Suspension Bridge toward Snowdonia for mountains, forests and dramatic landscapes, all within easy reach.
