Set on the eastern side of Anglesey, Nant Newydd Caravan Park is perfectly placed for a laid-back family getaway. Tucked among open farmland in a sheltered valley edged with trees and gorse, it offers a calm rural setting that’s ideal for unwinding and enjoying time together in the fresh country air.
The park provides excellent camping facilities and welcomes touring caravans, campervans, motorhomes and tents in its spacious rally field, which is bordered by thick hedgerows and offers lovely views across the surrounding countryside. Guests staying in tourers, campervans and motorhomes can choose between fully serviced hardstanding pitches or grass pitches, with or without electric hook-ups.
Free hot showers are available in the luxury shower and toilet block, which features underfloor heating throughout. Laundry and washing-up facilities are also located here for guests’ convenience. Caravan owners and visitors can enjoy a wide range of on-site amenities, including an outdoor heated swimming pool, extensive outdoor play areas for children, a sports pitch, zip wire, tennis court, bicycle track, laundry facilities and dedicated dog walking areas.
The stunning sandy beaches of Treath Bychan, Lligwy and Benllech are all within a five-minute drive, as is the picturesque fishing village of Moelfre, known for its lifeboat station and beautiful coastal walks. This stretch of coastline is perfect for swimming, sailing, water skiing, fishing, boating, diving, jet skiing, exploring rock pools, beachcombing or simply relaxing on the sand. Inland, Anglesey’s countryside offers rugged scenery and rocky outcrops, with plenty of opportunities for walking, golf, horse riding, birdwatching or just enjoying the views. Just beyond the island lies Snowdonia National Park, home to dramatic mountains, scenic lakes, charming villages and some of the most impressive landscapes in the UK.
