Both of our yurts are a true paradise for nature lovers looking to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life. Savour breathtaking views across Dartmoor and enjoy the delightful views of the rare breed sheep, ponies and chickens surrounding this rural retreat. Arrive to homemade elderflower cordial, flowers from the garden and fresh farm produce depending on the season.
Our handcrafted yurts each have their own private paddock and a fabulous fresh water log fired hot to soak your troubles away. Both yurts come with everything you need to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible, including crisp cotton linen, a toasty wood burner, rugs, sheepskins, a private kitchen, BBQ aera, Belfast sink and loo. Little Links Yurt also has a gorgeous, wood-fired tented bath and Great Links has a delightful outdoor shower facility. You can also unwind in our new sauna whilst savouring the spectacular views across Devon.
Great Links Yurt: This wonderful yurt sleeps 2 adults and 3 children and comes with everything your need for an unforgettable Devonshire holiday. The huge yurt is 21 feet in diameter and includes a magnificent emperor sized sleigh bed and a French day bed which can be converted into a single bed, with 3 further futons for 4 children. If you don’t fancy heading up to our wet room and barn, you make use of your own flushing loo, outdoor shower facility and washing up area.
Little Links Yurt: Our fantastic yurt sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 children, perfect for a family or romantic getaway. The spacious yurt is 18 foot in diameter and includes a double bed and roll out futons for 2 children. The yurt has it own tented bath and eco loo, as well as a flushing loo and a shower just a short walk away. You can relax with a glass of wine in the private garden/BBQ area, set in a meadow overlooking Dartmoor.
Onsite we have laundry and drying facilities, a fridge freezer and washing up area in the shower barn. Tap water and water carriers are available for you. Matches, fire-lighters, kindling, logs and camping stove gas and barbeque coals are available for you to purchase from the farm. You are also welcome to explore the scenic trails around the farm and children are welcome to feed and pet the lambs, plus collect fresh eggs and feed the hens. Couples will also love to try one of our massage treatments onsite, or try a couple’s yoga session delivered by one of our experienced instructors.
While staying with us, there is so much to do and see for the whole family. Dartmoor has an abundance of amazing walks to enjoy and there are lots of outstanding wild swimming spots in the area. Visit nearby Brentor, with is beautiful Grade II Listed church set high on top of a craggy granite tor. From here you can savour glorious views across Cornwall. Enjoy tree surfing at Gulwoerthy or head to Dingles steam fair, which has rides which are great for young and old. Further attractions to visit include:
