Cuckoo Down Farm is a luxury glamping site in Devon, situated on a charming 30-acre sheep farm in the picturesque countryside near Sidmouth's World Heritage coastline and its beautiful, safe beaches.
Experience a relaxing, luxurious glamping holiday in this stunning Devon location. We offer four beautifully decorated safari lodges and a gorgeous yurt, each equipped with a hot tub. Designed with groups, couples and families in mind, our accommodation ensures a comfortable and easy glamping experience.
Choose from four safari tents in the main glamping meadow or a more secluded yurt tucked behind trees. All tents feature hot tubs, private showers and toilets. Enjoy the idyllic Devon countryside, explore private oak woods on the farm and meet our friendly farm animals.
Start your mornings with birdsong and end your days stargazing from your hot tub. Each tent has a cosy wood-burning stove and an outdoor campfire pit for toasting marshmallows, sharing stories and enjoying the flames.
Inside your glamping tent, you'll find fresh bed linen, towels, a welcome pack and flowers on arrival, as well as board games and books. You can also request a children’s toy box, highchair and travel cot at no extra charge. Cuckoo Down Farm is dog-friendly and perfect for your furry friends.
Our safari tents, Blackberry, Poppy, Daisy, and Primrose are named after wildflowers found on the farm. Each tent measures five by nine metres, with a generous veranda and spaced about 30 metres from the nearest neighbor around a large, gently sloping seven-acre meadow.
Sweet Pea Yurt, located in a small, fenced paddock behind trees, offers seclusion and is perfect for those with dogs and small children. It features a six-metre diameter space with its own kitchen, shower, toilet and hot tub.
The farm itself is peaceful and beautiful, set in 30 acres of meadows and woodland. The World Heritage Jurassic Coast is six miles away, with lovely beaches at Sidmouth, Exmouth, Beer, and Branscombe. Enjoy superb walks straight from the farm and explore the renowned South West Coast Path nearby.
