The main touring park at Ayr in St Ives, Cornwall has camping pitches for tents, motor caravans and touring caravans. There are excellent views over the sea from most pitches and although the field is naturally sloping, there are areas of level terracing. Almost all pitches have an electric hook-up (16 amp), a tap and drain with hard standing and grass pitches.
Our shower and toilet block is kept clean and maintained to a very high standard. Services such as showers, hot water, hairdryers, shaver points etc. are all free. There are also dishwashing sinks and a chemical toilet disposal point, plus a waste and water point for motor caravans. Many people return year after year, knowing they will be within walking distance of the heart of St Ives and being confident of the standard of services provided.
Caravan Holiday Homes: All caravans have TVs, DVD players, CD player, toilet, shower, washbasins & sinks. They also have a fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, fridge & freezer compartment. All feature modern, easy to clean surfaces, attractive furnishings, & heaters in the lounge. There are shaver sockets and electric points for hairdryers etc. The main bedrooms have double beds, whilst the other bedrooms have single beds. All caravans have central heating & double glazing.
For campers, the standard of our shower and toilet facilities ensures that our guests can enjoy the outdoor life without making any sacrifices to comfort and hygiene. Dishwashing facilities, a launderette and well thought out disposal points for chemical toilets minimise the work involved in taking care of “everyday” matters and allow you to concentrate on your holiday. You will find that Ayr Holiday Park is well situated to take in a whole variety of walks, locations and attractions in Cornwall.
Ayr Holiday Park guests are welcome to use the Garrack Hotel facilities, including the indoor swimming pool (a charge may be made) the pool bar and cafe and the restaurant for a special evening meal. The Garrack is accessed by a footpath through the play area and is great for breakfast, coffee or a relaxing drink with a view.
