Beare's Den Campsite in Rosudgeon offers wonderful camping and glamping facilities in a glorious location. Nestled on a rocky cove near Penzance, you can savour truly breathtaking views. We are a great base to explore a range of attractions in Cornwall.
Our unique and stunning coastal position makes us perfect for an unforgettable holiday. The campsite enjoys outstanding views from Mounts Bay to the Lizard Peninsula. We have 21 camping pitches available, 9 have electric hook up.
We've transformed our facilities into cabin style facilities. They boast timber cladding, dry entrances and our signature 'Beare's Den' touches throughout. All undercover for your all-weather enjoyment of washing up, you'll also find a fantastic "Proper Job" Kitchen complete with sinks, workspace, freezer, hot water, charging points and lighting. There are also flushing toilets and reliable, hot showers.
For your unique getaway, we offer two beautiful yurt options! Each yurt boasts its own charm, and to help you create a truly special evening, both come equipped with amazing little wood burners. We're dedicated to making your stay unforgettable, and these wood burners are just one of the many ways we aim to ensure your comfort and enjoyment.
Always striving to improve your experience, we at Beare's Den identified the need for on-site food and drinks. In spring 2023, we acquired a 20-year-old horse box and embarked on a mission to bring a fantastic cafe to life. Now, campers can enjoy delicious, freshly brewed coffee roasted just 20 minutes away. We also offer a selection of breakfast options, snacks, and refreshing cold drinks, including ice cream. Whenever possible, we source our ingredients locally, ensuring quality and supporting the community.
During the summer we offer pizza nights (which need to be pre-ordered). Enjoy our sourdough bases and delicious toppings, baked in our roaring wood-fired oven.
Lots of beautiful walking are available from the camping field. You can enjoy swimming at the farm’s secluded cove or spend a relaxing day at Perranuthnoe’s beach. Nearby is the famous Prussia Cove Estate where you can discover turquoise coves and a sandy beach called Kennegy Sand. Lots of wonderful attractions are in the local area:
Penlee House Gallery & Museum.
Trengwainton Garden.
