Polladras Holiday Park offers excellent camping and touring facilities in a peaceful countryside setting, just a short walk from the village of Carleen. Ideally located near Helston, the park provides the perfect base for exploring the stunning Cornish coastline, beaches and attractions. Surrounded by beautiful rural scenery, Polladras Holiday Park is an ideal destination for those seeking a relaxing holiday in Cornwall. With its tranquil atmosphere and scenic surroundings, it offers an opportunity to unwind, reconnect with nature and escape the pressures of modern life.
We offer something for everyone, offering beautifully presented and well-maintained pitches for motorhomes, tents and caravans. We have a range of pitches available:
Gold: Majority of these pitches are 7 x 10 meter large electric grass pitches.
Gold L: The gold large is a 10 x 10 meter grass electric pitch with 10amp electric hook ups.
Gold XL: The gold extra large is a large 7 x 20 meter double grass electric pitch with 2 x 10amp electric hook ups.
Premium pitch number: large 15 x 15m pitch enclosed with hedges and comes with 2 10amp electric hook ups and a water tap.
Gold hard standing: standard pitches are 8 x 12 meters and come with access to electric hook up (min 10 amp) and all have 6 meters of gravel and 2 meters of grass.
Silver: 7 x 7 meter non-electric grass pitches, with no electric hook up.
We also offer accommodation in our two bell tents, the perfect alternative to the traditional camping experience. These unfurnished bell tents have been set up on two 9m x 8m Gold electric pitches and offer space for one car. You can make the tent your own, from bringing an air bed and sleeping bag to bringing a luxury camp bed and furniture.
Accommodation is also available in our luxury caravan. The high-end caravans offer your very own home away from home and is stylishly designed throughout. The 2-bedroom caravans come with a cosy living area with comfy seating and a TV, a well-equipped kitchen and modern bathrooms. Outside there is a picnic table and chairs for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.
Our site has an array of facilities: family shower wet room for the use of families with pre-teen children only, shower wet room for people with limited mobility, launderette with washing machine & tumble dryer (coin operated), large washing lines and even an iron, Inside dish washing sinks with free hot water and draining racks, communal microwave, fridge & freezer for your all important ice blocks, wet suit dunk tank, access to fresh water in each field, Elsan and motorhome disposal point.
We also have a play park and games room for children to enjoy, plus a nature trail and dog walking area.
Our park is only 4 miles from the south coast, with Praa Sands only 4 miles away. You can also visit Porthleven Harbour, just a 15-minute drive away. Less than a 30-minute drive away is Flambards Theme Park, St Ives and Falmouth. You can also visit the beautiful garden at Glendurgan, Trebah and Trewithin, whilst just miles away is the charming town of Helston.
