East Crinnis Holiday Park in Cornwall is a family-run site offering a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, whether you choose a private pitch or self-catering accommodation such as glamping units, log cabins, or holiday homes. Ideally located just a few hundred metres from the Atlantic Ocean in the heart of St Austell Bay, it provides the perfect base for enjoying the beautiful Cornish coastline.
We offer a range of camping and caravanning pitches across the site, all levelled and thoughtfully arranged to provide a sense of privacy. Most pitches are spacious, with a minimum size of 8m x 8m and some include gravel or tarmac hard-standing suitable for motorhomes and touring caravans. While not all pitches have 16amp electric hook-ups, you can select your preferred option when booking and if your chosen pitch type is unavailable, we are happy to help accommodate your needs where possible.
All pitches are conveniently located near water points and modern shower and toilet facilities, as well as a chemical waste disposal and grey water drop. Campfires are permitted but must be supervised at all times and contained within a fire basket or pit and barbecues must be raised off the ground. Each pitch includes space for one car, with additional parking available near reception for a small fee. There is also a children’s play park on site, though all children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Guests can also choose to stay in one of our Geodomes or the Nare Yurt, tucked away in the peaceful Summer Meadow. Perfectly positioned to catch the afternoon and evening sun, the Trenarren Geodome sleeps up to four, the Harlyn Geodome up to six and the Nare Yurt up to four, each featuring a comfortable double or king-size bed for a touch of luxury while still enjoying an outdoor experience. The nearby restored granite stable block provides modern facilities including showers, toilets, washing areas and a small kitchen with essentials such as a microwave, freezer and kettle. The Geodomes also feature large clear front panels offering stunning views, with curtains for privacy, while both domes and the yurt are equipped with log burners, allowing you to stay warm and even cook or boil water for a truly cosy, back-to-nature stay.
We also offer three spacious log cabins, built from pine to create a warm alpine-style retreat. Each lodge features an open-plan layout with a kitchen, dining and lounge area, along with a private sunny balcony and outdoor barbecue, perfect for relaxed al fresco dining. Designed for comfort and tranquillity, the lodges provide an ideal setting for a peaceful and high-quality stay within the park.
Onsite we have The Shack, this is open mornings only from 1st April to 26th May and 4th to 24th September, with both morning and evening opening from 27th May to 3rd September, including takeaway, live music, and quiz nights. It serves locally sourced breakfast items such as sausage, bacon and eggs, alongside fresh milk and award-winning coffee, as well as a range of local produce including meats, dairy and fresh bread. In the evenings, guests can enjoy takeaway favourites like freshly made pizzas or a popular Italian herb chicken burger with fries. The Shack is also licensed, offering beers, wines and Cornish cider and ale and stocks a variety of Cornish goods, groceries and beach essentials for a convenient and enjoyable stay.
Carlyon Bay in Cornwall is perfectly placed for exploring some of the county’s most popular attractions. Just a short distance away, Eden Project offers a world-famous experience with its iconic biomes and gardens, while the historic port of Charlestown is known for its tall ships and charming harbour. The nearby town of St Austell provides shops, restaurants and local amenities and beautiful coastal walks can be enjoyed along the South West Coast Path, with stunning sea views and access to sandy beaches. For a traditional seaside day out, Fowey is also within easy reach, offering boutique shops, waterfront dining and boat trips along the estuary.
