The Golden Swan in Wilcot provides camping and caravanning facilities in a picturesque countryside location. Situated near Pewsey, our peaceful site is the perfect base for exploring the scenic beauty and historic attractions of Wiltshire. Whether you're seeking a relaxing rural retreat or looking to discover charming villages, ancient landmarks and walking routes like the Kennet and Avon Canal, our site offers an ideal starting point for your Wiltshire adventure.
We offer up to 10 pitches for tents and caravans, surrounded by countryside. A limited number of electric hook ups are available for an additional cost, please enquire for details.
Onsite we have a wash room with a shower and a washing up area. We do not have chemical toilet emptying facilities but there is an accessible manhole.
Bikers and rallies are welcome.
We also have our traditional rural pub to enjoy, offering delicious home-cooked meals and an excellent drinks menu, with lots of seating available. Food is served every day between 12:pm-1:45 pm and 6:15 pm-8:45 pm.
Our campsite is based in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and only 22 miles from Salisbury, home to its famous cathedral. You can visit Silbury Hill, West Kennet Long Barrow, Stonehenge and the Avebury Stone Circle. Nearby is the Kennet and Avon Canal, perfect for scenic walks. Attractions to visit include:
