Etherley Farm is located at the foot of Leith Hill in the AONB area of the Surrey Hills. We offer straight forward camping on our basic and seasonal campsite. We aim to be an informal site, where people come to enjoy the simplicity of their surroundings.
The site is two fields surrounding the farm and we do not allocate pitches, allowing you to pick a spot just right for you; from tucking yourself away in the corner of the field to a larger gathering with your family or friends. To complete your camping experience you are able to have your own small campfire, for cooking your breakfast, lunch, tea or toasting marshmallows! Logs are available at our onsite shop, or feel free to bring your own.
Our converted farm building houses the toilets and showers and there is an outdoor washing up area, with hot water. Our onsite shop sells our own free-range chicken, duck, lamb (seasonal), beef (seasonal) and eggs, along with some camping essentials.
It is important to remember that we are a working farm and there is background noise from machinery and animals during the day and depending on the time of year there will be some chatter from our geese, ducks and turkeys, even at night. Please also note that there is no access to the farm or animals, but some of our animals can be seen from surrounding footpaths.
You can stroll to the local pub, The Parrot in Forest Green, which is only a 10-15 minute walk away. When open, the pub serves delicious, freshly cooked food and serves an array of local beers and other beverages. The nearest villages are Forest Green (within walking distance) and Ockley, with Dorking and Cranleigh the nearest towns.
