Stone Pit Meadows in Sandhurst offers charming glamping accommodation in an idyllic rural setting. Based in a peaceful setting off a country lane in Kent, we are perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Our glamping site is surrounded by 40 acres of rolling vineyards and guests are welcome to stroll around the ancient woodland, vines and wildflower meadows. You can even take a dip in our swimming pond. We have 2 custom-built shepherds huts and 3 bell tents available, all beautifully furnished for a memorable stay.
Shepherds Huts
We have 2 shepherd huts to choose from, Romney and Southdown. Each hut has been designed to our own specification and includes a handmade kitchen with a range of appliances and a breakfast bar.
One end of the hut houses an en suite shower room with a flushing loo and is stocked with luxury 100% natural and sustainable bath products by Bramley. At the other end of the hut is a wood-panelled nook that contains a full-size double bed and USB plugs.
Outside each of our huts is a private gravel seating area, including a table and chairs, comfy chairs and a firepit that comes with a grill to make a BBQ, great for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.
Bell Tents
Our 3 spacious bell tents are great for a tranquil stay in the country. You can choose from Primrose, Bluebell and Anemone. All our tents are fully furnished and include a real king-size bed. A cabinet includes crockery, cutlery and glassware and we also have a cool box with ice packs.
Outside each of our tents is a private seating area with a table and chairs, great for a coffee in the morning sun. We also provide deck chairs and a fire pit with a grill to make as a BBQ. Each tent also has an electricity power point and water tap.
Self Pitches
We also have 7 Summer Self-Pitches, available 3rd July - 31st August 2024: 5 non electric and 2 electric pitches which are carved into our five acre wildflower meadow.
