Glamping at Gravel Pit Farm offers luxurious glamping accommodation in Marden, surrounded by the stunning Kent countryside. This peaceful retreat is ideal for couples or families seeking a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With beautifully appointed glamping units and a serene rural location, Gravel Pit Farm provides the perfect base for exploring the Garden of England while enjoying a comfortable and memorable stay.
Our two 5-star safari tents are finished to the highest standards to provide sumptuous accommodation. The site is surrounded by countryside, providing a true haven for nature lovers looking for somewhere special to stay. Our entire site can be hired for exclusive use.
The two tents are spacious and sleep 6 people, boasting a comfy king-size bed and large single beds with warm duvets and crisp white sheets, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. A king-size bed in the cabin is also available. All beds include electric blankets. The high-end bathroom in each tent includes large shower enclosures, a proper basin and a flushing WC. A separate purpose-built oak cabin houses additional loos.
The cosy living areas come with a toasty wood burner for those chilly days. You can rustle up some delicious dishes in the well-equipped kitchen that includes a range of excellent appliances: a full-size gas hob, sink, fridge and utensils. Outside there is a large 30-inch two-tier charcoal BBQ for al fresco dining on a warm summer’s evening.
A covered veranda with seating offers a fantastic spot for a glass of bubbly whilst admiring the views. At the far end of the paddock, there’s a campfire area, providing a great spot for toasting marshmallows whilst gazing at the starry night sky.
The local area has a variety of picturesque walks and cycle routes to enjoy, whilst power assisted bikes can be hired nearby. Nearby there is Go Ape and lots of National Trust properties. Only 20 minutes away you’ll find the historic towns of Royal Tunbridge Wells and Cranbrook. Attractions to visit include:
