Monks Cottage Caravan Park provides well-equipped caravanning facilities in the peaceful hamlet of Leaveland, just outside the historic market town of Faversham in Kent. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, the park is an ideal retreat for nature lovers and those seeking a relaxing rural escape. With its tranquil setting and easy access to nearby attractions, Monks Cottage is the perfect base for exploring the scenic landscapes of Kent.
Our campsite consists of 15 level grass pitches, all with electric hook-up, in grounds of the owner’s period thatch cottage. Set in a peaceful, picturesque valley, we are a great place to escape from the pressures of modern life.
Facilities onsite include a toilet block with disabled facilities. There are 2 shower cubicles with toilets and one shower has a disabled seat and grab rails.
You can visit the historic market town of Faversham (4 miles away), famous for its yearly hop festival. Visit the cathedral cities of Canterbury and Rochester with its many castles, Cinque Ports, historic houses, towns and villages. Explore the historical dockyard at Chatham, where Nelson`s H.M.S. Victory was launched. Visit many beaches along our coastline, including Whitstable: itself being famous for its oysters.
