Appuldurcombe Gardens Holiday Park is an award winning 5 star family owned Holiday Park, situated within an area of outstanding natural beauty. The park is surrounded by beautiful open countryside, and is an ideal base for walking & cycling and to explore the nearby beaches and local attractions, a perfect retreat for all the family.
Touring & Camping: The Touring, Motorhome & Tenting areas are divided into 3 sections, The Main Field, Meadow Crocus & Bluebell, are all situated within sheltered grassland, with upland views of the Stenbury Downs.
All pitches have electric hook-up and have a selection of pitch types from grass to hardstanding pitches in all areas to suit everyone’s needs.
The main toilet block is built to a high specification with modern washing facilities, complete with free showers, hand & hair dryers and a separate washing up area. The access friendly room is situated within the same complex.
There is also an area set aside in The Meadow for relaxing, nature watching, and recreational past-times which also has a gentle babbling stream meandering alongside where wildlife resides.
Folly East & Folly West Apartments: These are accessed via an external flight of stairs and are situated over the Licensed Café and lounge area. Both are centrally heated with 1 double and 1 twin bedroom. They have a shower room with toilet and basin, there is also a separate toilet. The Lounge ( with balcony ) and dining area are spacious with an open plan design with flat screen TV with Freeview. The contemporary style kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The accommodation is non-smoking, towels are supplied.
Wisteria Lodge: This is situated adjacent to the pool area, it has 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin room. The Master Bedroom has a king size bed with en-suite Jacuzzi bath, toilet and separate shower. There is also a separate shower room with toilet. The lounge and dining area are open plan and has a 40" flat screen TV with Freeview. The contemporary style kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The Lodge also has its own outside seating area, is centrally heated and double glazed. The accommodation is non-smoking, towels are supplied.
Our onsite Facilities comprise of an outdoor heated pool open Whitsun to mid-September, which is overlooked by the Licensed Cafe and Lounge area. Amenities include a children’s playground, and launderette.
The park is located in the valley of the Stenbury Downs and St Martin's Downs, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and an ideal spot for bird watching, and horse riding. For walkers and cyclists there is an excellent network of footpaths and cycle paths 50 yards from the site. Alternatively, if you prefer relaxing on a beach, we are only a short drive to the famous coves and beaches of Shanklin, Sandown and Ventnor, where you can enjoy sunbathing, swimming, sailing, windsurfing and hang gliding.
You can also travel around the coast of the island to find a haven of outdoor activities.
