Description

The Yurts at Burnt House Farm provide glamping accommodation on the edge of Newport, the island’s capital town. Ideal for families or couples seeking a unique and relaxing place to stay, our site is surrounded by beautiful countryside on the Isle of Wight. It’s a peaceful retreat where guests can unwind, explore the island’s attractions, and enjoy a memorable holiday in a tranquil natural setting.

We are set amidst spectacular countryside, offering a peaceful setting where you can often spot pheasants, bats, red squirrels and a variety of birdlife right from the yurt, creating an authentic rural experience. For families, there's a play area featuring a trampoline, badminton net and a small wooden playhouse, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and outdoor fun.

You can choose from our 3 beautifully furnished yurts, with each offering plenty of space and home comforts to enjoy. The yurts can sleep a family of 2 adults and up to 4 children, offering 1 double bed, 1 bunk bed with a pull-out trundle below and a small single bed. The yurts can also sleep 4 adults including a double bed and 2 single beds. All bedding is provided.

Facilities in all the yurts included electricity, a kitchenette, separate en suite, fabulous shower toilet and basin. The comfy beds are perfect for a restful night’s sleep after a day in the country, whilst a drop leaf dining table and chairs is great for dining on. A toasty log burner is ideal for those chilly days. Outside each yurt, there is a picnic table and BBQ for al fresco dining whilst savouring the glorious surroundings.

This area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, offering excellent walking and cycling routes, scenic forests, rich wildlife and award-winning beaches.
