Great Gransden is a Certificated Site (CS) based in Sandy, Bedfordshire. A small campsite that accepts just five caravans or motorhomes. We accept tents of any size.
These campsites are often quieter, smaller places to camp, with many offering minimal facilities – ideal for when you want to get away from it all. On-site facilities include:
1 toilet.
1 hot shower which gives a good 10 minutes of hot water for 50p.
Swimming pool - open twice a day for an hour at a time. Adult pool rate £2, child £1.50.
Purpose built fire put.
Fire wood on site.
Plenty of electric hook-ups.
We are a family friendly site and are happy to accept dogs providing they are kept on leads.
We are a 5 minute walk from the local free house pub that offers very high quality, home cooked Indonesian food. The Checkers of Little Granson is only a 20 minute walk and is a microbrewery free house pub.
If you enjoy strolling through woodland, then there is a lovely wood less than 10 minutes from our campsite. For those who enjoy the hustle and bustle of amusements and attractions, there are plenty of places to go in the area and it is an easy journey to the park and ride in Cambridge.
Travelling from St Neots or Cambridge on A428 (was A45), turn South on B1040, at junction B1046 turn East towards Gt Gransden. Site 0.75m on right.
Rates: From £10 per night, single person tent.
From £20 per pitch, per night without electric, based on 2 adults.
£2.50 for children.
From £5 for electric.
£1 hot shower.
Children are welcome.
Groups are welcome.
