Otters Edge Campground in Liniclate is located on the beautiful island of Benbecula, offering a peaceful and relaxing escape in the heart of the Western Isles. Set in a stunning spot with a pristine beach just behind the site, it’s the ideal place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the Hebrides. Whether you're looking to explore the island or simply relax by the sea, Otters Edge provides the perfect setting to disconnect from the stresses of everyday life.
We have 17 generously sized hardstanding pitches with EHU, offering a mixture of road stone pitches or compacted grass/stone/sand or grass pitches. These pitches are allocated on booking. We also have 2 camping fields for tents. Facilities onsite include:
Toilets and Basins.
Shower cubicles.
The Otter Den - campers room sinks, kettle, charge points, chairs.
Clothes drying lines.
Bins (recycling and general).
Chemical Waste Disposal.
Water filling up stations.
Eco Clothes Drying Tent (shielings drying tent).
We are in the ideal location for exploring the area. There is easy access to the local swimming pool and small gym, whilst lots of beaches can be enjoyed along the way to Balivanich. Within 1 - 3 miles is a Co-op, hotel and smokehouse. Attractions to visit include:
Grimsay.
Borve Castle.
Loch Eport.
Wiay, Uist.
Museum nan Eilean.
