Loch Tay Highland Lodges Leisure Park is situated in the central highlands near Killin in Perthshire. The holiday park is set on the shores of Loch Tay which is possibly one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland surrounded by mountains, lochs and rivers still within easy driving distance of Edinburgh, Stirling or Glasgow.
We have a variety of accommodation to offer: woodland cabins, wooden wigwams, Holiday lodges, glamping domes and hideouts.
Holiday Lodges: Our lodges are all fully equipped to meet the needs of our visitors, whether on a short or long stay. South facing lochside locations with patio area and barbecue space. Enjoy a stunning highland rural lochside setting with spectacular views over Loch Tay and Highland Perthshire.
Wigwams: Each wigwam is located in a quiet secluded area of the park with wonderful views of the loch. All wood, the wigwams are a great alternative to camping with the addition of some welcome home comforts such as TV, fridge, kettle and microwave.
Woodland Cabins: Experience our new, cosy octagonal woodland log cabins in Scotland. Beautifully located with commanding views of the Ben Lawers mountain range and Loch Tay, the log cabins are well equipped with contemporary decor, wooden floors, faux leather settees, flat screen TVs with satellite, Hi-Fi with iPod dock etc. The feature wood burning stove creates a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
Glamping Domes: Our unique glamping domes are located in dome village and offer stunning views over Loch Tay and Ben Lawers Mountain. Each dome is spacious and fully furnished. They all come with a wood burning stove, bean bag seating, electric LED lamps and an external firepit. Two single beds are provided. One of our domes comes with a stunning wood burning hot tub.
Hideouts: We have a range of wonderful hideouts available, including some with luxurious hot tubs. Our hot tub hideouts enjoy glorious views over Loch Tay and Ben Lawers. Each hideout is furnished with a double bed, pull out sofa bed, dining space and a compact kitchen with cooking facilities. A TV, microwave, kettle, fridge and toaster are also provided.
The Stables Bothy with hot tub: Our fantastic addition to our glamping village is perfect for families or larger groups. The bothy sleeps up to 8 people and offers bunkhouse style accommodation. The bothy is beautifully furnished and comes with a large living & dining area with wooden floors, leather sofas, a log burning stove, wall mounted flat screen TV, pool table and top of the range sound system.
There is so much to see and do in the area, including waterside activities, gorge walking and archery. Dewar's World of Whisky is a quite sensational modern visitor centre, featuring a unique interactive exhibition showing the courageous ‘spirit’ of the Dewar family. The blending room is a recreation of the Master Blender's room at the offices in Perth around 1929. The Scottish Crannog Centre is a popular visitor attraction on Loch Tay. It is a complete reconstruction of how the ancient peoples lived and worked many thousands of years ago. Enjoy a shore-based exhibition and visitor centre displaying some of the original house timbers and objects used by the Iron Age loch-dwellers.
