The Point of Ness Campsite rests along the picturesque shoreline overlooking Stromness, offering dramatic views of the hills of Hoy.
This 3-star campsite is ideally located just a short walk from the town centre and ferry terminal, providing a tranquil setting. It caters to touring caravans, motorhomes, and tents, offering level hard-standing and grass pitches equipped with electric hook-ups. The modern toilet and shower facilities were recently upgraded in 2022.
Stromness itself is a quaint town nestled on the lower slopes of a granite hillside, featuring houses built into the hillside and on stone piers. Its narrow main street winds charmingly along the shoreline.
We are in a great location and it is only a short walk to the shoreline. The town is nearby and a range of attractions worth visiting include:
Ring of Brodgar.
Standing Stones of Stenness.
Pier Arts Centre.
