The Birsay Hostel and Campsite is situated in the tranquil northwest corner of Orkney Mainland, near the village of Birsay. It is surrounded by stunning coastline featuring serene beaches and several renowned Neolithic sites. Nearby attractions include the dramatic cliffs of Marwick Head, RSPB reserves, Earl’s Palace, Barony Mill, Kirbuster Farm Museum and the tidal Island of the Brough of Birsay.
The campsite, rated 3 stars, offers 28 pitches in total, including 13 with electric hook-ups. It welcomes tents, caravans and motorhomes on its flat, grassy grounds. Campers have access to toilet and shower blocks, as well as washing facilities and a drying area.
This site is fully accessible for disabled guests. There is also a toilet and shower block with washing facilities.
