Wyreside Lakes is a family‑run site spread across more than 120 acres of farmland at the foot of the Bowland Fells in Dolphinholme, Lancashire. The estate features six well‑stocked fishing lakes that cater to both novice and experienced anglers with carp, mixed coarse species, pike and catfish, while the River Wyre winds peacefully through bluebell‑filled Fox’s Wood for scenic walks and wildlife spotting.
The award‑winning site provides a range of overnight options, including grass electric pitches for caravans, campervans and motorhomes, as well as lush fields for tent camping. Guests who prefer a little extra comfort can choose from two styles of glamping pods: one designed for two adults and another accommodating two adults and two children.
Convenience is a priority throughout the site. Multiple toilet and shower blocks are spaced for easy access, equipped with hairdryers and charging points and the main block includes an accessible disabled and baby‑changing facility. An on‑site shop carries a wide range of food and everyday essentials, while the adjacent launderette offers washing machines, tumble dryers, an iron and an ironing board.
Families can make the most of an outdoor play area and woodland brimming with wildlife and natural curiosities for children to explore. Regular events enliven the evenings at Wyreside, from live music and fancy dress gatherings to themed nights focused on all‑round family fun.
