High Gaitle Caravan Park offers excellent touring and camping facilities in Longtown, just 1 mile from Gretna Green. We are the ideal base for exploring a range of attractions in Cumbria.
Our lovely caravan park has unlimited pitches available for tents and up to 30 pitches for touring caravans or motorhomes, plus 5 hard standings pitches. We are the only site in the area to take tents and motorcyclists are more than welcome.
Onsite we have ample toilet and shower facilities that are spotless.
We are open all year round.
Only half a mile from us is the A7 which is on the Scottish border, on the way to Edinburgh. The Lake District is just 40 minutes away.
Visit Gretna Green, home to the famous Blacksmiths Shop, an historic wedding venue. Visit the outlet village which offers designer brands and high-quality labels or head to The Devil's Porridge Museum which offers a fascinating history of this border area. You can also visit The Courtship Maze, a 70-metre by 40-metre maze.
