Situated in the beautiful Eden Valley countryside, Gillcumber Glamping Pods offers a truly memorable escape. With easy access to both the English Lakes and Northumberland, it’s the perfect base for exploring some of the UK’s most stunning landscapes while enjoying a peaceful rural retreat.
Each of our glamping pods comfortably sleeps up to two adults and two children and is designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay. Every pod is fully equipped with underfloor heating, a kitchenette with an electric griddle, cooking utensils, crockery and a dining area. All pods also feature en-suite facilities with a shower and WC and towels and bedding are included for your convenience.
We offer three distinct pods, each with its own character and outlook. The Ryeland, located in the middle of the site, overlooks the Eden Valley and is pet friendly. The Leicester provides luxury and comfort in a pet-free environment, while The Valais, situated at the end of the site, offers stunning panoramic views and welcomes pets.
Guests can enjoy plenty of open space, with a large paddock next to the pods, ideal for games, family fun, or simply soaking up the countryside views. We also provide a selection of indoor and outdoor toys and classic board games, ensuring entertainment for all ages.
To make your stay even more special, you can enhance your experience with optional extras such as a private hot tub, fire pit, breakfast packs, BBQ packs, a date night pack, or fresh eggs from the farm. For the ultimate in relaxation, guests can also enjoy our new sauna, perfect for two people and complete with a private changing area, available for £20 per couple for a 60-minute session.
It’s just a short 10-minute stroll to the charming village of Winton. There, you can visit the local pub and restaurant to enjoy real Cumbrian ales and delicious home-cooked food, the ideal way to end a day exploring the countryside. There is plenty to see and do in the area, including:
