Sizergh Caravan & Camping near Kendal provides excellent facilities for campers and tourers on a welcoming organic dairy farm. Surrounded by the beautiful Cumbrian countryside, it is the perfect destination for those seeking peace, relaxation and a truly rural escape.
Our newly developed site offers everything you need for a memorable stay in a stunning countryside setting. Guests can enjoy the charm of farm life with the chance to see a variety of farm animals, as well as an abundance of local wildlife right on the doorstep.
The caravan pitches are of a very generous size, with a similar-sized adjoining area of grass. All the caravan pitches are fully-serviced, offering water, electricity, and a grey water drain. In total, there are 7 pitches for caravans, campervans and motorhomes.
We also have 10 pitches for tents, 2 small pitches suitable for a 2 person tent, 4 medium pitches suitable for a 6 person tent and 4 large pitches suitable for an 8 person tent. Electric hook ups are provided.
For those that fancy a touch of comfort, we have a camping pod. The pod sleeps 4 people, perfect for a break in the country. Inside the are 2 single beds and a sofa which converts into a double bed, plus a Velux window to bring in plenty of natural light. There is no bathroom, guests will need to us our shower/toilet block onsite. Underfloor heating will keep you toasty and facilities include a table and chairs, fridge, freezer, kettle and microwave, cutlery and crockery. Bedding and towels not provided. Outside there is a decking area to unwind on with a morning coffee whilst savouring the setting. No dogs in pod.
Onsite we have a modern shower block with underfloor heating, (unisex) 3 fully enclosed shower units, 2 toilets and hand basins and a hairdryer. Heated drying facilities are also available, plus a pot wash facility and a fridge and kettle.
Why not visit our award-winning farm shop and café onsite packed with local produce. You can even watch the cows being milked from the cafe!
The stunning Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks are right on our doorstep, with an abundance of stunning walking and cycling routes to enjoy. Savour some delicious Cumbrian food and drink nearby after a day in the countryside. Attractions to visit whilst staying with us include:
