Sykeside Camping Park is nestled at the head of the Ullswater Valley, near to Brotherswater. Our camping park is an ideal base from which to explore the Lake District National Park and offers camping and accommodation in a beautiful part of Cumbria.
We are the perfect spot for walking, whether you fancy a short stroll around Brotherswater or a full day's hike up High Street, with many footpaths leaving right from our doorstep. Our central location makes us ideal for exploring the Lake District and Cumbria, whether it be on foot or by car. Alternatively, for those who wish to relax, why not sample a pint or two of local ale at the Brotherswater Inn whilst enjoying the stunning views of Dove Crag.
For brave campers we are open all year round (with the exception of the Christmas period) in all weathers, so why not join us for a spot of ice-climbing or winter walking, or perhaps just relaxing by the fire in the pub!
We have up to 80 grass pitches for tents and 20 hardstanding pitches with electrical hook up suitable for motorhomes, campervan, caravans, trailer tents and folding campers. Additionally, we have a separate secluded 5 van CL site for Motorhome and Caravan Club members only. For those who prefer to stay indoors we have a cosy bunkhouse sleeping up to 36 guests, and a comfortable bed and breakfast with 7 en suite rooms.
We are dog friendly, so anyone with four legs is very welcome in the bunkhouse, on the campsite, in both bars and in the shop.
