Side Farm Camping is situated outside of Patterdale near Penrith at the southern end of Ullswater and provides an excellent base for fell walking, water sports and mountain biking. Overlooked by the Place Fell and with stunning views towards the Helvellyn range, this site is a spectacular location for exploring this beautiful area of the Lake District.
Ideal base for walking, mountain biking, fishing or simply relaxing. Book in at tearoom/farm between 9 am to 9 pm. Families welcome. Close to Patterdale village and many walks, both high and low level. No fires permitted but barbecues ok if raised off the ground. Tents and small/medium sized campervans welcome, sorry no caravans.
