Tucked away in peaceful woodland on a family farm they offer four beautifully crafted shepherd’s huts and cabins. Each one is designed for indulgent relaxation, complete with a king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom and a private deck equipped with a wood-fired hot tub and fire pit. Situated among the trees and overlooking a wildflower meadow, the huts enjoy stunning views across the Northumbrian coast.

Inside and out, each space is thoughtfully equipped with luxurious touches such as Egyptian cotton bedding, soft towels, central heating and heated bathroom towel rails. Bathrooms include a shower, washbasin and flushing loo, with one cabin boasting a freestanding bath. Every hut has its own private deck with sea views, a wood-fired hot tub and a fire pit for cosy evenings outdoors.

Saba's Hut

Saba’s Hut is the most traditional shepherd’s hut and sleeps up to four. Named after the family’s youngest flat-coated retriever, it is filled with colour and natural light and features a star-gazing roof above the king-size bed. The full-size single bunks offer extra sleeping space and the ensuite includes a power shower, washbasin and flushing loo. An outdoor shower adds a refreshing touch, with views across the Northumbrian countryside. Access to the king-size bed is via a climb, so guests who prefer easier access may wish to consider Tilly’s Hut.

Tilly's Hut

Tilly’s Hut is a beautiful traditional shepherd’s hut for two adults, with a star-gazing roof over the king-size bed and an ensuite with a power shower, washbasin and flushing loo. The private deck provides outdoor seating and for families with children, a bell tent can be added nearby, complete with twin campaign beds and Persian rugs. Tilly’s Hut welcomes one well-behaved dog, which must be kept on a lead.

Lottie's Cabin

Lottie’s Cabin brings a new level of luxury, taking inspiration from a pioneer’s cabin in the Canadian Rockies. This double-storey cabin offers plenty of room to unwind, with a kitchen and dining area downstairs and a spacious ensuite bathroom featuring a power shower, freestanding bath, washbasin and flushing loo.

Joe's Place

Joe’s Place is the ultimate in luxury glamping and is named after a much-loved Border Terrier. As the largest shepherd’s hut on the farm, it includes an expansive outdoor space with a private hot tub, an L-shaped layout offering a generous bedroom with a picture window overlooking the meadow and a large open-plan kitchen and sitting room leading to a covered deck with an outdoor shower. The bathroom features a power shower, washbasin and flushing loo. Joe’s Place welcomes one well-behaved dog, kept on a lead at all times.

Experiences

Guests can enjoy a range of experiences during their stay, including yoga classes in the wildflower meadow or in the bespoke yoga tsala, an East African-inspired meeting space.
