Glororum Caravan Park is beautifully situated one mile from Bamburgh on the glorious Northumberland coast. Set in peaceful surroundings, it is within easy reach of Holy Island, the Farne Islands, The Cheviots and many historic castles. The nearby village of Bamburgh, itself with its magnificent castle dominating the surrounding countryside, is also the home of the famous Grace Darling Museum. Spend a while visiting this tribute to our local heroine or take a stroll along the award winning golden beaches.
Our park enjoys glorious views of Bamburgh Castle and is close to stunning sandy beaches within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. All of our touring pitches have an electric hook up facility. Well, designed toilet blocks include showers and free hot water. We also have dishwashing facilities and laundry with washers and dryers.
Glororum also has plenty of space to relax and play. You will find two children’s play areas, a skateboard park and a five-a-side football pitch. Dogs are welcome and we have a marked dog exercise/walk area. They must be kept on a leash at all times and owners are expected to clean up after them.
Our well stocked shop comes with ample supplies of self catering provisions. Fresh milk and bread are available on a daily basis. Freezer block storage, confectionery, newspapers and magazines guide books etc can also be bought in the shop.
We also have a range of holiday homes for sale – please enquire for details.
There are ample opportunities locally for swimming, golf, tennis, sailing, diving, water sports, bird watching and boat trips to the Farne Island. We are perfectly positioned to enjoy the countryside, whether it be one of the many golden sandy beaches or walking in the Cheviots Hills. Bamburgh has local shops, pubs and beaches and is a short stroll away from the park. Glororum is only a matter of minutes away from the Scottish Borders on empty country roads.
