Fallowfield Dene Caravan and Camping is a spacious site offering facilities for campers, tourers, statics and even glamping pods. The site is located in a rural setting within the Northumberland village of Acomb. It is ideally placed for visiting Hexham and the Northumberland National Park.
The pitches are all surrounded by beautiful landscape and all have electric hook up. The glamping pods can sleep, 2 adults and 2 small children.
There’s a site shop with a good range of basic food and other necessities such as meat from a local butchers and fresh milk and eggs from local farms. Replacement gas cylinders are also available. There are other local supermarkets nearby in the towns of Hexham and Corbridge that have a wider choice of groceries. We also have an on site café.
The Dene is home to an abundance of wildlife, local ‘residents’ include red squirrel, fox and badger; listen out for the tapping of the woodpecker or catch sight of a hovering kestrel. You can enjoy exploring Fallowfield Dene with its network of tracks, there’s even a ‘Doggy Walk’ for visitors to exercise their pets. Fallowfield Dene Camping and Caravanning Park has something for everyone.
