Ingledene Beckside Campsite is a small, family-run site set in the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors, just a short walk from the centre of the market town of Pickering. Surrounded by fields and country lanes and bordered by Pickering Beck, the site offers a peaceful and scenic setting for a relaxing break.
The campsite has 20 pitches in total and welcomes motorhomes, caravans and campervans. Hard-standing pitches with electric hook-ups are available, as well as grass pitches with or without electric. The facilities include a shower block with toilets and showers for both ladies and gents, along with a family and disabled bathroom with a shower and toilet. Guests can also make use of wash-up sinks, recycling points, a freezer, toilet disposal and a drive-over grey waste disposal point.
A pleasant fifteen-minute walk brings you to Pickering, where you can enjoy supermarkets, independent shops, real ale pubs and restaurants. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway station is also within easy walking distance and the lively Monday market draws many visitors to the town. From the campsite, there are numerous walking routes to explore and the owners are happy to provide advice on local trails. Public transport is also nearby, with buses running to York, Whitby and Scarborough. For family fun, Flamingo Land theme park and a variety of other attractions are only a short drive away.
As an environmentally friendly site, guests are encouraged to use chemical-free products wherever possible. Barbecues and fire pits are permitted provided the grass is not damaged and logs are available to purchase on site.
