York House Caravan Park in Hawsker offers electric and non-electric pitches, camping pods, tent pitches and hard standing pitches for tourers, nestled in gorgeous countryside. We are only a 5-minute drive from Whitby and perfect for an idyllic break in North Yorkshire.
We have a range of generous size pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents. Some of the pitches have hard standing and most have electric hook ups (electric cards can be purchased from reception). Most of the pitches enjoy countryside views. The pitches come with BBQs and patio areas.
Our camping pods are based in a tranquil setting and enjoy countryside views.
Please note our pods are a replacement for a tent only and do not have any contents in them they are fitted with lights/double electric socket/oil filled radiator and carpet floors. You will need to bring your camping equipment with you i.e. air beds sleeping bags and cooking equipment etc.
Onsite facilities include our shop that sells milk, sweets and gas sales. There is a laundry and a modern toilet and shower block. We have a children’s play area and a games room. We also have a bar and café serving home-cooked meals.
Within a short walk from us is the Hare and Hounds pub. The Old Railway Line is perfect for a beautiful walk or cycle ride. Visit Robins Hood Bay or explore the North Yorkshire National Park. Attractions to visit include:

Whitby Beach.
