Golden Square Caravan Park is a family-friendly site situated at Oswaldkirk and just a short drive from the pretty North Yorkshire market town of Helmsley. We are perfectly placed for those wishing to explore the magnificent North York Moors National Park.
The site is interestingly laid out across three different levels, meaning even at peak times, there is still the spacious feel. Trees, hedges and bushes have been carefully planted around the site to offer screening for the pitches. We have 100 pitches in total for touring and motorhomes.
Our luxury, award-winning, heated toilet blocks at Golden Square have won the regional award for 'Loo of the Year'. This is a fine testimony to the high standards and quality of the services and facilities which you can expect at the park.

There are 554 square miles of The North York Moors National Park to explore. Within an hour's drive is the Yorkshire coast at Scarborough and to the south is the historic city of York. To the west are the Yorkshire Dales and further north lies Teesdale. Close to Ampleforth are world-famous historic houses, abbeys, castles and craft workshops as well as opportunities for golf, riding and pony trekking, swimming, gliding, fishing and walking.
