Runnis Meadow Camping near Minsterley is a spacious site that offers pitches for tents and campervans. We are based in the stunning Shropshire Hills and only 5 miles from the town of Bishop’s Castle.
Our campsite has 10 pitches on site, nestled in a peaceful countryside setting. Electrical hook ups are available. We also have fresh water on tap and a shower block.
Whilst staying with us you can visit the nearby town of Bishop’s Castle, home to takeaways, shops and amenities. Lots of walking and cycling routes are in the area and we are close to several good pubs.
Only a short walk from us is The Stiperstones, home to the second-highest hill in the county. This is a great place to walk around and enjoy the view. In South Shropshire, you can visit historical attractions, including Ludlow Castle, Clun Castle and Stokesay Castle.
We are easily accessible to the Snowdonia National Park and the Welsh coast at Borth or Barmouth. Visit the town of Shrewsbury and browse the shops. Attractions to visit include:
Roundton Hill Nature Reserve.
The Long Mynd.
Corndon Hill.
Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery.
Shrewsbury Castle.
