Cotswolds Camping in Charlbury is a small country site which has 70 pitches for caravans, tents and campervans. Situated in a private and tranquil area of Oxfordshire, we also offer glamping accommodation.
Our campsite has grass pitches with electric hook ups available. Parking is adjacent to the pitches. We also have two separate family/group fields to hire with private facilities such as own kitchen, which is fully equipped and private toilet and shower. Perfect for family gatherings.
We also offer a range of glamping options, including four luxury Glamping Pods equipped with kettles, heaters and a toilet with sink, each sleeping up to three people. Additionally, we have two Camping Pods with a kettle and heater, suitable for two guests and two Stable Barns, each sleeping up to four people and fitted with a kettle, toaster, and heater. Please note that for all our accommodations, guests are required to bring their own bedding.
You can also choose to stay in one of our Gypsy Wagons, these have been beautifully hand-painted using traditional techniques and adorned with vibrant fabrics, creating a warm and colourful space. Stunning hand-painted murals bring the beauty of nature indoors, offering a truly unique and memorable glamping experience. Each wagon is equipped with an outdoor table and chairs, a firepit and electricity inside, along with a small kettle for making tea and coffee. Guests also have access to shared kitchen facilities, including a microwave, toaster, fridges and a freezer, all available for your use during your stay.

Our on-site shop offers a selection of cold drinks, ice cream, camping essentials, chocolate and sweets, toiletries, local maps and basic food items. We also have tents, beds, bedding and other camping equipment available to rent.
Our onsite café, the Cauldron Café Emporium, offers a cosy and eclectic experience. Alongside serving hot drinks, alcohol, hot meals and pastries, the café also features a unique selection of self-help remedies, antiques and other curiosities.
We also offer entertainment every weekend.
Charlbury has lots of shops including groceries, a pharmacy, gift shop, pubs and a coffee shop. Two of the pubs have bar snacks/dining areas. Within 5 miles there are several choices for pub dining. Charlbury has an Indian takeaway, a fish & chip van on Fridays and pizza takeaway. A range of attractions are in the local area, including:
